This tour is built to show both faces of Central Asia — nomadic and architectural — without leaving you feeling like you only saw half the picture.

Route

Bishkek → Lake Issyk-Kul → Karakol → Jeti-Oguz gorge → Bokonbaevo → Kochkor → Bishkek → Osh → Kokand → Tashkent → Samarkand → Gijduvan → Bukhara.

Day by day

1. Arrival in Bishkek, check-in, free evening.
2. Bishkek: Ala-Too Square, the Manas monument. Drive to Issyk-Kul.
3. Issyk-Kul: the “Ruh Ordo” cultural center, the petroglyph museum, the Semyonovskoye gorge.
4. Drive to Karakol — the Przhevalsky museum, the Dungan mosque. The Jeti-Oguz gorge.
5. “Skazka” canyon, a falconry demonstration in Bokonbaevo, drive to Kochkor.
6. A felt-carpet masterclass in Kochkor, the Burana Tower, drive to Bishkek.
7. Flight to Osh, drive to Kokand — Khudoyar Khan’s palace, the Madari-Khan mausoleum.
8. Drive to Tashkent over the Kamchik pass.
9. Tashkent: the Khast-Imam complex, Chorsu Bazaar. Drive to Samarkand.
10. Samarkand: Registan Square, the Gur-Emir mausoleum, the Bibi-Khanym mosque, the Shah-i-Zinda ensemble.
11. Drive to Gijduvan — a masterclass with the ceramicists. On to Bukhara in the evening.
12. Bukhara: the Samanid mausoleum, the Ark fortress, the Poi-Kalyan ensemble, Lyab-i Hauz.
13. Transfer to Bukhara airport, departure.
