Astana → Almaty → Medeo → Kok-Tobe → Charyn Canyon → Almaty → Tashkent → Samarkand → Gijduvan → Bukhara → Khiva → Urgench.
Day by day
- Arrival in Astana, check-in, free evening.
- Astana: Hazrat Sultan Mosque, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the Bayterek monument.
- Astana continued: the old part of town, the First President’s museum.
- Flight to Almaty. Panfilov Park, the Green Bazaar, the Medeo gorge.
- Kok-Tobe hill, Charyn Canyon — the “Valley of Castles,” a picnic.
- Flight to Tashkent, check-in.
- Tashkent: Chorsu Bazaar, the museum of applied arts, lunch at the plov center. Drive to Samarkand.
- Samarkand: Registan Square, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanym mosque, Shah-i-Zinda ensemble.
- Drive to Gijduvan — masterclass with the ceramicists. On to Bukhara in the evening.
- Bukhara: Samanid mausoleum, Ark fortress, Poi-Kalyan ensemble, Lyab-i Hauz.
- Drive to Khiva across the Kyzylkum desert.
- Khiva: Ichan-Kala, Kunya-Ark fortress, Tash-Khauli palace.
- Transfer to Urgench airport, departure.
