Pamir & Uzbekistan — Easy Hiking — 13 Days
Not everyone wants to tackle 4,000-meter passes with a heavy pack — and that’s no reason to skip the Pamirs entirely. This is the gentler version: the same legendary views, the same yurt camp beneath Peak Lenin, but no summit attempt and no multi-day moves. Easy-paced walks with gradual acclimatization, capped off with the full classic Uzbekistan route.
Route
Osh → Kyrgyz-Ata national park → “Edelweiss Meadow” yurt camp → Onion Meadow → Lake Tulpar-Kul → Travelers’ pass → the Petrovsky Peak ridge → Osh → Tashkent → Samarkand → Gijduvan → Bukhara.
Why this tour
- The gentlest of our Pamir tours — no summit attempt and no multi-day moves with heavy loads.
- Acclimatizing at Kyrgyz-Ata park before heading to altitude lowers the risk of altitude sickness and makes the trek accessible without specialized training.
- The same views of Peak Lenin (7,134 m) as our full Pamir tour — minus the serious physical challenge.
- Finishing with classic Uzbekistan rounds out the trip: mountains and architecture in one itinerary.
A 15-day version continuing on to Khiva and Urgench is available on request.
