The Pamir Highway & the Silk Road — Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan — 14 Days
The Pamir Highway is one of those roads people travel to Central Asia specifically for: passes above 4,000 meters, air so thin conversations get shorter while the views get longer. This route is for travelers who want more than turquoise madrasahs — who want to feel the altitude, the distance, and the scale of the region in their own body.
Route
Osh → “Edelweiss Meadow” yurt camp → Lake Karakul → Murghab → Langar → Ishkashim → Khorog → Kalai-Khumb → Dushanbe → Margeb → Lake Iskanderkul → Penjikent → Sarazm → Margozor lakes → Samarkand.
Why this tour
- The highest-altitude route in our catalog — the Kyzyl-Art (4,280 m) and Ak-Baital (4,655 m) passes push close to what’s accessible without specialized mountaineering training.
- A yurt camp with views of Peak Lenin (7,134 m) — an overnight stay beneath one of the most dramatic mountain views on Earth.
- The Wakhan Corridor — a narrow strip of land between three countries that very few tourists ever reach.
- Finishing in Samarkand after 12 days in the mountains makes the architecture land completely differently.
