Route

Nukus → Mizdakhan → Khiva → Bukhara → Gijduvan → Samarkand → Tashkent.

Day by day

  1. Arrival in Nukus, check-in, free evening.
  2. The Savitsky Museum (“the Louvre in the desert”), the Mizdakhan necropolis with the “Tomb of Adam.” Drive to Khiva.
  3. Khiva: Ichan-Kala, Kunya-Ark fortress, Tash-Khauli palace.
  4. Drive to Bukhara across the Kyzylkum desert.
  5. Bukhara: Samanid mausoleum, Ark fortress, Poi-Kalyan ensemble, Lyab-i Hauz.
  6. The Sitorai Mokhi Khosa palace, drive to Gijduvan — masterclass with the ceramicists. On to Samarkand in the evening.
  7. Samarkand: Registan Square, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanym mosque, Shah-i-Zinda ensemble.
  8. Samarkand continued: the Afrasiyab museum, Ulugbek Observatory. Drive to Tashkent.
  9. Tashkent: Khast-Imam complex, Chorsu Bazaar, lunch at the plov center.
  10. Transfer to the airport, departure.
