This is our flagship route — it covers every must-see city in Uzbekistan in eight days. What sets it apart from similar tours on the market: a flight between Tashkent and Khiva instead of an 8-hour overland drive, and a stop in Gijduvan with a family of hereditary potters on the way to Samarkand.
Day by day
- Arrival in Tashkent, city orientation, Khast-Imam complex, Chorsu Bazaar.
- Flight Tashkent → Khiva (instead of a long overland transfer). Ichan-Kala old town walking tour.
- Drive across the Kyzylkum desert to Bukhara, stop by the Amu Darya river.
- Bukhara old town: Ark fortress, Kalyan minaret, Lyab-i Hauz, the covered trading domes.
- Drive to Gijduvan — pottery masterclass with a family of hereditary ceramicists, lunch with grilled kebabs. Continue to Samarkand in the evening.
- Samarkand: Registan Square, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanym mosque.
- Samarkand continued: Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory, Siyob bazaar.
- Transfer to the airport, departure.
