Etihad Airways launches daily direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Tashkent

Etihad Airways will launch daily nonstop flights between Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and Tashkent International Airport beginning 10 August 2026, according to kun.uz and UzDaily.uz. The service will operate on Airbus A320 aircraft, with the outbound flight departing Abu Dhabi at 21:10 and arriving in Tashkent at 01:35 the following morning; the return departs Tashkent at 03:50 and lands in Abu Dhabi at 06:35.

Equally significant for travellers exploring the country is the codeshare agreement between Etihad and Uzbekistan Airways. Under the partnership, passengers can book a single through-ticket from Abu Dhabi to eight Uzbek destinations beyond Tashkent: Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Nukus, Termez, Fergana, Namangan, and Andizhan. In the other direction, the route gives Uzbek travellers direct access to Etihad’s network of more than 70 onward destinations via the Abu Dhabi hub.

The two airlines are also integrating their loyalty programmes — Etihad Guest and UzAirPlus — so frequent flyers can earn and redeem miles across both carriers. Daily connectivity between the Gulf and Tashkent makes reaching Uzbekistan’s Silk Road heritage easier than ever for visitors from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
