Centrum Air launches direct Tashkent–Karachi flights

A new direct link between Uzbekistan and Pakistan’s commercial capital is now open. Centrum Air launched its Tashkent–Karachi service on 3 September 2026, operating twice a week — on Thursdays and Sundays — aboard Airbus A320 aircraft, according to AeroRoutes and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

The route fills a gap that previously forced travellers between the two cities to connect via a third-country hub, and it brings the total number of weekly flights between Uzbekistan and Pakistan to eight: four to Lahore, two to Islamabad and two to Karachi. Centrum Air is managed by Gerry’s Group, one of Pakistan’s leading travel and logistics companies.

For visitors from Pakistan’s largest city, the new non-stop connection makes Tashkent an easy holiday destination — and from there, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva are just a short high-speed train ride away along the Silk Road. For Uzbek travellers, Karachi opens direct access to one of South Asia’s most vibrant commercial centres.
